Background: Eric is a retired sergeant from the United States Army Infantry.  He is a survivor of veteran suicide and is actively working to overcome chronic health challenges from burn pits and toxic exposures.  He is a successful entrepreneur, philanthropist, and veteran advocate.  Eric hopes that by sharing not just his story, but the stories of the 100’s of veterans that he has met along his journey will give our lawmakers perspective on how IAVA’s Big 6 all work together to help combat the epidemics that are facing the veteran community.  You can learn more about Eric and his story at: https://www.handupllc.com
