New York, NY – On Wednesday, November 17, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) will partner with Team Rubicon to host a live event and provide an overview of the ongoing evacuation and resettlement efforts for our Afghan allies.
IAVA’s CEO Jeremy Butler and Senior Advisor Matt Zeller will be joined by Art delaCruz, CEO of Team Rubicon to discuss the current situation and offer ways that people can get involved and volunteer to help.
“In our continued commitment to support our Afghan allies, IAVA is proud to team up with Team Rubicon to get important information out to the community about the status of evacuation and resettlement efforts, as well as volunteer opportunities and other ways to help ensure the safety of our Afghan allies,” said IAVA CEO, Jeremy Butler.
“Veterans play an essential role in helping our Afghan wartime allies resettle in their new American home. IAVA is honored to assist in this vital mission,” said IAVA Senior Advisor, Matt Zeller.
“As veterans, it is our responsibility to help Afghan allies and families as they resettle. The sacrifices of these men and women cannot be forgotten and we are proud to welcome them into communities across the country. Team Rubicon and our Greyshirts are excited to partner with IAVA to share how we can work together to make a difference for these families,” said Team Rubicon CEO, Art delaCruz.
