Read: IAVA Staff Veterans Celebrate Uniqueness In New Video

This Veterans Day, IAVA partnered with the Ad Council and Love Has No Labels to create a moving video that celebrated all who serve our country. The piece highlights the uniqueness of those who donned the uniform for our country, transcending race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age and ability.

IAVA staff veterans Allison Jaslow, Melissa Bryant and Cinthya Fana were proud to join the campaign to share their stories, exploring why they joined the military, their experiences while serving and how they dealt with their transition back to civilian life after serving. Through the Love Has No Labels campaign, IAVA was able to give visibility to our #SheWhoBorneTheBattle campaign and all women veterans, putting a special focus on their service.

Over 2.5 million viewers watched across the world on Facebook, garnering over 5,000 shares and 14,000 reactions and nearly 500 comments ranging from notes of support to heartfelt stories of their own. Many others expressed their thanks for honoring the service of veterans and for teaching an important lesson–diversity should be celebrated.
