2014 Member Survey

Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America

The IAVA 2014 Member Survey is the largest non-governmental survey of confirmed Iraq and Afghanistan combat veterans in existence. This year there were over 2,000 respondents. It asks our members about their experiences with reintegration, mental health care, employment, education and asks how the government is doing to support them and their fellow vets.

The survey data drives IAVA’s agenda — evidenced by our Campaign to Combat Suicide — and it should drive the country’s, too. These veterans are America’s new greatest generation - and our nation’s future leaders. For over a decade they’ve continuously had our backs. Now it’s time for us to have theirs.
