Vet Centers are community-based counseling centers funded through the Department of Veterans Affairs that provide a broad range of counseling, outreach, and referral services to ensure veterans are getting the support they need post-deployment. Vet Centers are sensitive to the needs of veterans and their families, providing services without a time limitation that are available during non-traditional weekday hours and weekends. These services are easy to access and are free of cost to the veteran.
