Veteran Organizations Join Forces to Host “The Voices of Black Veterans in 2022”

Virtual panel discussion includes Black leaders in the veteran services sector in advance of Black History Month

New York, NY – On Wednesday, January 26, 2022, four leading veteran service organizations – Combined Arms, Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans of America, Minority Veterans of America, and Travis Manion Foundation – are co-hosting a virtual panel discussion titled “The Voices of Black Veterans in 2022.” 

In advance of Black History Month in February, these organizations are joining forces to amplify and uplift the voices of the Black veteran community with the goal of carrying their experiences forward and redefining the conversation on veterans in the future. There are approximately 2.15 million Black Veterans in the United States, representing about 12% of the veteran population. 

Moderated by Navy Veteran and DEI Professional, D’Juan Wilcox, the panelists include the following Black leaders in the veteran services sector:
