 IAVA Joins 50+ VSOs to Advocate for the Passage of Bipartisan Burn Pits Legislation

Ahead of Tuesday’s (6/7) procedural Senate vote, Senate VA Committee Leaders to host a press event urging swift passage of the PACT Act.

New York, NY Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), along with more than 50 other organizations representing America’s veterans, service members, and their families sent a letter to Committee on Veterans’ Affairs Chairman John Tester (D-MT) and Ranking Member Jerry Moran (R-KS) strongly urging them to pass the bipartisan Sergeant First Class Heath Robinson Honoring Our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxins (PACT) Act, as amended.

Additionally, Chairman Tester and Ranking Member Moran will be joined by IAVA and many  Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs) to hold a bipartisan press event on Tuesday morning, (6/7), to highlight the urgent need for the Senate to pass the PACT Act.
