Washington, DC — IAVA proudly announces the results of its 2020 Spring “Storm The Hill,” which was conducted March 2-6 in Washington, DC.

IAVA veteran members, called “Stormers” were competitively selected to come to Washington DC to tell their stories and advocate with IAVA on behalf of the post-9/11 generation of veterans.  Stormers met with 37 Representatives and 31 Senators during the course of the week.  Learn more about the IAVA Stormers here.

IAVA CEO Jeremy Butler testified in front of a joint session of the House and Senate Veterans Affairs Committees on March 3.  His testimony can be found here

In addition, IAVA launched its 10th Annual Membership survey on March 4.  The results can be found here.

“I could not be more proud of our Stormers,” said Jeremy Butler, CEO of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America.  “This was IAVA’s most ambitious and impactful Storm The Hill in years, and that is a direct result of the passion and experience of our Stormers.  Our elected leaders in Washington cannot turn their backs on the stories they just heard from IAVA member veterans; they need to act to address the serious and important issues affecting post-9/11 veterans.”
