Retired SSgt Patricia Aquino (USMC) lives in Houston, TX. Ms. Aquino joined the United States Marine Corps on Feb 12, 2001. She was medically retired from active service in April of 2013. During her Career, Ms. Aquino was deployed to Al Assad, Iraq in 2008. From 2010-2011, Ms. Aquino deployed to the Southern Province of Afghanistan as part of a Female Engagement Team. Ms. Aquino attended the University of Houston-Downtown and graduated Cum Laude with a Fine Arts Degree in English. Ms.Aquino currently lives in Houston, TX where she actively works to promote women veteran issues and advocates on their behalf through local VSO’s.
