Julie (Felton, CA) is an Army OIF/OEF veteran and she was a former IAVA intern in the Spring 2018. She was an integral part of the Spring 2018 Storm the Hill and has been published on our website through blogs multiple times. Julie is currently working on a Master’s in Public Policy at Mills College in Oakland, CA where she is focusing her research on funding for veteran treatment courts (VTC). She also is a peer advocate for her local VTC.
