On Tuesday, June 22nd, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) partnered with the National Cannabis Festival to host a live panel. This event provided an overview of the state of legal cannabis in the United States, highlighted current legislation and summarized IAVA’s alternative therapies priorities. IAVA’s Director of Government Affairs Travis Horr joined Caroline Phillips, Founder and Executive Producer, National Cannabis Festival and Dr. Sue Sisley, President and Principal Investigator at Scottsdale Research Institute to alternative therapies for the veteran community.
