Read: Weekly RRRP Round-up December 21
IAVA’s Rapid Response Referral Program (RRRP) works with veterans and families across the nation providing critical support, guidance and connections to on the ground resources. RRRP is staffed by masters-level Veteran Transition Managers (VTMs) that work on the front lines every single day, ensuring our nation’s heroes and their families have the support that they need and have earned.
It’s been an incredibly busy week and the RRRP team continues to provide top notch services to clients. Caseloads are high and client needs are complex and urgent. RRRP continues to step in and provide critical assistance to those in our community who are in need.
- Client quote of the week: “Thanks so much brother, I am literally alive because of you today.” Learn more about the tremendous impacts RRRP made last week by checking out our latest Weekly Impact Report.
- The RRRP team is saying goodbye to one of our Veteran Transition Managers (VTMs), Patrice Sullivan. Patrice has served IAVA, our community, and has been an integral part of the RRRP team for over three years. Her contributions are infinite and invaluable and she will be missed but not far away as she starts a new position as a Suicide Prevention Coordinator with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
- IAVA’s Chief Services Officer Hannah Sinoway, and Senior Veteran Transition Manager, VA Benefits Lead Vadim Panasyuk were quoted in a powerful article in MEL magazine addressing the important issues surrounding PTSD, stigma and veteran employment.
- As we bring in the New Year, IAVA will be expanding the RRRP program to North Carolina, and one of our VTMs will be on the ground there, focusing on partnerships and client services in that region. We will also be welcoming a new member to the RRRP team in January!
We wish you all a very happy holiday season!
