Read: Weekly RRRP Impact Report – October 5, 2016

In 2012, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America saw a need to create a safety net for transitioning veterans to connect them to the extensive, but often fragmented, network of support systems and resources available to them. The Rapid Response Referral Team has connected over 7,200 veterans to more than 8,350 resources. Unfortunately, the needs of today’s veterans remain high.

RRRP client quote of the week:
“My Veteran Transition Manager has always been willing to help with anything. He tries his best to find help for us, but if he can’t find help it is not due to anything he has or has not done.”

Trends:
Clients reached out for financial assistance to help with bills, for help with legal issues, for help accessing the VA, for assistance with disability claims, for help with treatment for PTSD, and for help finding a job.
