Trends:
RRRP processed 5 new cases this week and provided 26 new referrals for clients. Financial assistance, community, and suicide and mental health were the top areas clients sought support and assistance with. RRRP also received inquiries for assistance navigating VA disability claims, education benefits and legal needs. RRRP’s average customer service rating went up this week and clients continue to report a reduction in stress after working with RRRP’s Veteran Transition Managers.

Referral Partner Highlight: Catholic Charities
The mission of Catholic Charities is to provide aid to people in need, advocate for justice in social structures, and encourage others to do the same. Catholic Charities uses a variety of approaches to deal with poverty, providing basic needs to individuals and advocacy to address systemic poverty. Through its member agencies, Catholic Charities provides services to millions of people a year through programs focused on housing and homelessness, health care and disaster relief. Catholic Charities has local offices in every state across the country and many have specialized services and resources for veterans and families, including: case management coordination, financial assistance and housing. RRRP has collaborated with 35 different Catholic Charities locations and has referred nearly 100 veterans and family members to access life changing resources and support.
