Tonight, the two remaining Democratic candidates will square off for the sixth time since October. PBS NewsHour is producing the debate which will air on PBS and CNN at 9pm ET. It will be available for streaming on pbs.org/newshour and CNN.com.

Moderators Judy Woodruff (@JudyWoodruff) and Gwen Ifill (@GwenIfill) are PBS NewsHour anchors and both have presidential debate experience, but together they will serve as the first-ever all-female moderation team on a presidential debate.

Hillary Clinton rolled out her veterans policy, which focused on VA reform, early in her campaign. Clinton’s record on veterans issues is much slimmer than her national security record, but she’s been forced to weigh in on veterans and military issues in previous debates and interviews throughout her campaign. Of note, while interviewing to be the first woman commander-in-chief, Clinton recently received criticism for her failure to take a position on whether women should register for Selective Service.

Ahead of his New Hampshire primary win, Bernie Sanders’ record on veterans issues came under scrutiny, along with his campaign’s use of the American Legion logo in their paid communication. And just last night, he promoted the VA system in support of his government health care policy.
