Outside of the Military I enjoy coaching baseball. Playing softball. Attending sporting events. Enjoying vacations with my family. Seeing the country.

Why are you joining the IAVA Cavalry?

I am joining the IAVA because I want to support the voices of Veterans. I want to offer my talents to move the groups interests forward.

How did your military experience shape you to be the person you are today? 

It shaped me to look out for my fellow soldiers and give aid. It shaped me to be a better individual and team member.

Which one of IAVA’s policy priorities do you believe is the most pressing? Why?

Democracy. Veterans need to have their voices heard. Veterans need to know that our politicians are working for our best interests.

Which one of IAVA’s policy priorities do you have the strongest personal connection to? Why? 

Protecting our democracy. Veterans need to be informed about what politicians are doing. Veterans need to be present to hold our politicians accountable.
