Joshua Pickett

Joshua (Washington, D.C.) served in the United States Army as a Forward Observer. When he left the military, he moved out to Arizona and started attending school at Arizona State University. During this time, he started volunteering at the Mesa Veteran Center in Mesa, Arizona, helping out with the veteran support groups. Since working there, his passion has been to help his fellow veterans. Joshua is Storming the Hill to continue helping veterans any way he can. Joshua believes the most pressing issue of IAVA’s Big 6 is continuing to defend veterans’ education benefits.
