Collier outside of the military:

I get to be a dad to a wonderful little boy and as good of a partner as I can to his mother. I love reading and studying history. I’m actively involved in my church. I’m actively engaged in work to help veterans get out from being homeless.

How the military experience affected Collier’s personal growth:

I’ve served with both the best and the worst people on earth. I have seen though how veterans get used as pawns in political brinksmanship.

IAVA’s policy priorities that are the most pressing:

AUMF and medicinal Marijuana at the federal level. The state of our democracy concerns me as well. I believe these issues are immediately important because they will directly impact both active duty and vets.

Advocating for federal access to medical Marijuana so that more vets needing it can have it as an option.
