Trends:

Clients reached out this week seeking assistance with VA disability claims, education benefits, financial assistance, mental health access, and employment. We are seeing a sharp increase in clients reaching out seeking assistance appealing their VA disability ratings due to additional physical and mental health hardships. Emergency financial assistance needs this week were related to rent,  utility bills, and car repairs. Clients continue to seek guidance locating mental health options within the VA and community resources specifically due to PTSD and/or MST. Clients seeking employment services are  reaching out for career guidance, resume assistance, and employment resources. Clients are stating that their service-related health conditions are affecting their ability to obtain gainful employment.
