Read: RRRP Weekly Report July 21, 2017
In 2012, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America saw a need to create a safety net for transitioning veterans to connect them to the extensive, but often fragmented, network of support systems and resources available to them. The Rapid Response Referral Team has connected over 7,900 veterans to more than 9,200 resources. Unfortunately, the needs of today’s veterans remain high.

RRRP client quote of the week:
“Again thank you so much for all your outstanding work. I love talking to you. Keeps me going with your positive attitude. You have helped me in more ways than you know. You also helped my babies! Thank you so much, [VTM]!”
Trends:
The majority of our clients this week reached out seeking employment services. Veterans continue to reach out seeking emergency financial assistance. These inquiries were related to rent, vehicles, housing, and utilities. Clients also reached out seeking legal assistance and for help understanding and accessing their benefits.
