Referral Partner Highlight: Disabled American Veterans
Disabled Veterans of America (DAV) is a non-profit organization that provides support to veterans of all eras and their families. DAV works with more than than 1 million veterans every year and assists veterans with more than 250,000 VA benefits claims each year. DAV has also provided nearly 615,000 rides for veterans attending medical appointments to ensure they have access to services without the hindrance of transportation challenges. In 2017, DAV was able to get more than $4 billion in new and retroactive benefits to care for veterans, their families and survivors. DAV also connects veterans with employment opportunities, hosts job fairs and provides employment resources. DAV operates from over 1,200 chapters across the country and RRRP has referred more than 380 veterans to access their services for assistance with benefits, employment and transportation.
