Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is a non-profit organization that provides support to veterans of all eras and their families. DAV works with more than than 1 million veterans every year and assists veterans with more than 250,000 VA benefits claims every year. DAV has also provided nearly 615,000 rides for veterans attending medical appointments to ensure they have access to services without the hindrance of transportation challenges. In 2017, DAV was able to get more than $4 billion in new and retroactive benefits to care for veterans, their families and survivors.
