Trends:
RRRP processed 7 new cases and provided 66 new referrals for clients. Financial, suicide and mental health, and employment needs were the top areas clients sought support and assistance with. RRRP served three new clients at-risk of suicide and one new client at-risk of homelessness. RRRP also received requests for legal support and help navigating the VA disability claims process. RRRP’s overall customer service rating went up and clients continue to report a reduction in stress after working with RRRP’s Veteran Transition Managers.

Referral Partner Highlight: Operation Homefront
Operation Homefront provides financial assistance to deployed and injured service members, veterans and their families for overdue bills, repairs and other critical family needs. Since 2002, Operation Homefront has assisted nearly 15,000 military families while providing over 37,000 unique requests for assistance. Operation Homefront provides assistance to veterans who have received an honorable or general under honorable discharge and are able to assist with the following: auto payment and repairs, child and dependent care, baby items, dental and medical assistance, food, rent and mortgage, essential home items, utilities, and travel and transportation. In addition to generous financial assistance, Operation Homefront also provides assistance with obtaining homes through their Homes on the Homefront program through donated homes that are awarded to military families throughout the country. RRRP has been collaborating with this amazing program since 2012 and has referred nearly 230 veterans and families to access this life-changing assistance.
