Trends:
RRRP processed 46 new cases and provided 78 new referrals for clients this month. RRRP served 4 new clients at-risk of suicide and 6 new clients that were either homeless or at-risk of homelessness. Financial assistance, navigating the disability claims process, and suicide and mental health were the top areas clients sought support and assistance with. RRRP also received requests related to employment, community support, education benefits, housing and homelessness, health care, and legal assistance. Clients continue to report a reduction in stress after working with RRRP’s case managers.

Referral Partner Highlight: Operation PAVE
Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) offers a premier employment program for veterans, spouses and caregivers called Operation PAVE. Paving Access for Veterans Employment (PAVE) provides comprehensive vocational counseling and job placement assistance utilizing customized job search strategies. Serving veterans and families across the country, PAVE assists with interview techniques, identifying educational pathways to improve employability and facilitates connections with potential employers who are committed to hiring veterans by providing ongoing support and training for successful hiring and retention programs. PAVE is RRRP’s go-to comprehensive employment resource. Since the onset of our partnership in 2016, they have worked with 144 RRRP clients. Operation PAVE has a swift response time, demonstrates a high level of military cultural competency and works tirelessly and diligently with RRRP clients to enhance skills, reach goals and achieve meaningful, long-term employment.
