The week is starting to come to a close, but you’d never know it seeing IAVA’s advocacy on Capitol Hill and around the country. We only have a few hours left before we start preparing for Memorial Day weekend, and we’re going to spend every second of it defending the GI Bill! A few highlights from yesterday:

Advocacy Team: 

• Coordinated Texas IAVA member meeting in Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson’s (D-TX-30) Dallas office
• Set-up meeting with the office of a prominent Republican Senator

Member Advocacy:

• 16 Voter Voice messages sent out by our members yesterday
• Defend the GI Bill campaign grassroots IAVA member message total stands at 30,439.
