IAVA’s Defend The GI Bill campaign was doing triple duty yesterday at our 7th annual member survey and with member meetings in Washington, DC and Texas. Highlights from yesterday include:

Advocacy Team: 

• Highlighted difficult financial situations for Post-9/11 GI Bill veterans in our 7th Annual Member Survey
• Coordinated Texas IAVA member meetings in the DC offices of Senator Cornyn (R-TX) and Senator Cruz (R-TX) and Senator Cornyn’s Dallas office

Member Advocacy:

• 9 grassroots IAVA member messages sent out to Capitol Hill offices yesterday.
• NGIB campaign grassroots IAVA member message total stands at 30,413.
