IAVA’s Defend The GI Bill campaign started out strong this week with continued advocacy in Washington, DC and across the country. Some highlights from yesterday include:

Advocacy Team: 

• Met with the office of Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY-13)
• Coordinated BIG TEXAS SIZE push for Texas Senators on the Defend the GI Bill campaign. Member meetings set-up in Senate offices in Washington, DC and Dallas.

Member Advocacy:

• 24 grassroots IAVA member messages sent out to Capitol Hill offices yesterday.
• NGIB campaign grassroots IAVA member message total stands at 30,392.
