IAVA is returning to the Iraqi Children Foundation’s “In Their Shoes” 5K, and we want our community running with us.

For many post-9/11 veterans, this cause is deeply personal. The race supports vulnerable children in Iraq, including communities connected to where many of our members served. Showing up for these children is one way our community continues to serve beyond the uniform.

ICF supports Iraqi children who are vulnerable to abuse, neglect, trafficking, street life, and child labor through education, legal protection, nutrition, medical care, and other direct support. IAVA CEO Dr. Kyleanne Hunter is again serving as an honorary co-chair.

Last year’s race drew a record 519 participants and marked ICF’s biggest fundraising year ever. With your support, we can help them do even more.
