Veterans Roundtable and Q&A Breakfast

Dear Colleagues:

We invite you to a special roundtable and discussion co-hosted by the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) and the Congressional Post-9/11 Veterans Caucus to publicly release IAVA’s new Policy Agenda with a focus on recognizing women veterans.

IAVA’s Policy Agenda is a comprehensive blueprint for how Congress, the Administration, and the community can support our veterans. The Big Four priorities in the Policy Agenda are:

  1. Fully Recognizing the Service and Improving Services for Women Vets
  2. Continuing to Combat Suicide Among Military and Veterans
  3. VA Reform
  4. Defending the Post-9/11 GI Bill from Cuts and Abuse

Discussions will center on women who have served and their experiences, adding context to IAVA’s Big Four priorities. There will be an open floor Q&A. Light breakfast of coffee and pastries.
