In August 2015, unemployment numbers for the post-9/11 generation of veterans dropped to the lowest since these numbers have been tracked by the Department of Labor. Steady progress in decreasing veteran unemployment has been made over the last few years. This generation of veterans are talented, motivated and creative. Employing them is an investment. So now it’s past time to talk about providing employment, and move the conversation to engaging veterans in careers.
