Troy (New York, NY) is a post-9/11 Army veteran (OEF 11-12), lawyer-by-training, and housing navigator for SSVF (Supportive Services for Veteran Families) VA grantees in New York City. He utilized most of his Post-9/11 GI Bill (currently utilizing the rest to get an MA in International Relations) to finish his law degree after an OEF deployment and is proud to be a member of Iraq And Afghanistan Veterans Of America and a small part in their advocacy legacy, which includes fighting for the new GI Bill. In addition to advocating for America’s veterans, he also advocates for voting rights and needed electoral reforms, affordable housing, and supporting democracy.
