Title: Director, Digital Strategy
At IAVA: Richard is responsible for overseeing digital media across IAVA’s various social channels. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Communications, the Director of Digital & Creative Strategy works to ensure digital channels reflect IAVA’s advocacy priorities with an eye toward achieving IAVA’s communications goals.
Professional Background: Richard is an experienced strategic communications professional with a history of cultivating dynamic and engaging digital + social impact campaigns. His portfolio to date spans across industries and critical issues relating to racial & economic justice, workforce development, diversity inclusion, electoral politics and veteran affairs.
More about Richard: Richard holds an M.P.A. in urban policy with a specialization in media + advocacy from Columbia University and a B.A. in political science from Fordham University. His passion for documenting the dynamic stories of American veterans brought him to join IAVA.
