Kaitlynne Hetrick serves as IAVA’s Associate, Government Affairs. She served in the United States Navy for four years as an Aviation Electronics Technician, Petty Officer 3rd Class. Since departing from the Navy in 2014, she has spent a lot of her time in school and working to help student veterans.
Kaitlynne attended Baldwin Wallace University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations. At Baldwin Wallace, she first served as the Secretary for their Student Veterans of America chapter and then as the President during her senior year.
She also worked as a Public Relations intern for Challenge America, a non-profit devoted to serving disabled veterans during her senior year at BW.
In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, taking her children to museums, and reading.
