Brandon Lloyd

Storm the Hill 2020

Brandon (Daphne, AL) served as in the Infantry and as a Combat Medic in the United States Army.  He believes each of the #Big6 are pressing issues. If he had to choose one, it would be combating Veteran suicide. The number of veterans taking their own lives is an extremely sad fact on its own. But just the press it gets from news outlets or as organizations “raise awareness” is also traumatic and having negative impacts in the veteran community. Brandon believes that this problem will continue to get worse if something isn’t done. He has the strongest personal connection with veteran suicide. Brandon was severely wounded and faced the reality of losing his military career. This was a battle that he almost lost and feels it is his duty to share the ways he overcame that darkness.
