Benjamin Lane

As the Intake Case Manager, Ben acts as the first point of contact for veterans and family members who contact RRRP and is responsible for conducting an intake assessment on all veterans seeking RRRP services. Ben earned his B.A. in Psychology from Marymount Manhattan College, focusing on forensic mental health. Prior to joining IAVA, Ben worked at the Brooklyn Supreme Court conducting research on competency to stand trial evaluations. Ben completed a clinical internship at Brooklyn Supreme Court’s Forensic Mental Health Clinic assisting with competency to stand trial evaluations and mitigating circumstances interviews. Ben is passionate about veteran topics and bridging the civilian-military divide, participating in GORUCK challenges and coordinating volunteer outreach for homeless veterans in NYC in his free time.
