Ann Weeby

I served in Mosul and Kirkuk, Iraq with the Michigan Army National Guard from 2003 to 2004. I was a part of a small engineering detachment comprised of an incredible team of carpenters, electricians, and plumbers that built base infrastructure and supported city services. After deployment I returned to college but was unable to get the education benefits I had earned. When I first joined IAVA not only did I recognize myself in their members and staff but they were taking action on this very issue. Now I work for Goodwill of Silicon Valley as the Senior Business Developer connecting homeless and low income veterans with quality jobs. I will bring to Washington the stories of veterans who failed to receive the mental health support that they needed. I grew up in Boyne City, MI and currently live in San Francisco, CA.

Support Veterans Today

Our country has an obligation to fulfill its promise to honor and support vets. Make a donation today to help IAVA fulfill its mission to connect, unite, and empower post-9/11 veterans.
