Read: RRRP Weekly Report July 14, 2017

In 2012, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America saw a need to create a safety net for transitioning veterans to connect them to the extensive, but often fragmented, network of support systems and resources available to them. The Rapid Response Referral Team has connected over 7,900 veterans to more than 9,200 resources. Unfortunately, the needs of today’s veterans remain high.

RRRP client quote of the week:
“[VTM] provided me much needed counseling towards employment and continues to help. This service I first used in 2010 and this updated version increases my confidence as I work to return to the workforce.”

Clients continue to reach out seeking emergency financial assistance. These inquiries were related to rent, vehicles, housing, and utilities. Clients also reached out seeking legal assistance and for help understanding and accessing their benefits.
