Referral Partner Highlight: Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes
The Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes was founded in 2004 to assist wounded veterans who deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan and face challenges caused by injuries sustained in combat. The Coalition is among the nation’s leading charities providing critical support to wounded veterans and their families and provides emergency financial assistance to veterans that deployed and sustained injuries, have at least a 30% VA disability rating and are experiencing severe financial hardship. Emergency financial aid often covers utility bills, car payments and repair costs, mortgage and rental payments, groceries and household supplies, school supplies, clothing and medical bills. In addition to generous financial support, the Coalition also provides comprehensive employment services to veterans and their families. RRRP has been collaborating with this impactful program since 2012 and has referred nearly 50 veterans and families to access this life-changing assistance.
