Read: Presidential Town Hall & VetTogether in Atlanta on Sunday, June 2nd

IAVA has an exciting mission for you — if you choose to accept it. We need leaders to represent our veterans community at very special VetTogether activation at the CNN Center (Atlanta) this weekend.

On Sunday, June 2nd – IAVA will be sending member veterans to join CNN as part of the audience at on

a Town Hall with Presidential Candidates Representative Seth Moulton, Representative Tim Ryan, and Representative Eric Swalwell.

IAVA is an emphatically non-partisan organization. And though we do not support any political candidate or any party – our members come from all political backgrounds. We believe in empowering veterans to challenge current and future leaders and lawmakers around the issues that are important to our community. We also believe that every national conversation, on every network, should involve the voices of veterans.

That is why we are sending IAVA members to represent us all at these town halls. And why we’ll work with news networks over the next few years, just as we have in the past with the historic IAVA Commander-in-Chief Forum in 2016 that brought Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump together in the same place for the first time as Presidential candidates.

If you would like to join IAVA and represent our community, please sign up for the June 2nd VetTogether here by 5PM on Thursday, May 30th. Please only apply if you’re available from 5PM – 9:30PM EST on Sunday, June 2nd.

IAVA will follow-up to request additional information, including a short statement about why you want to attend, a headshot, and any requirement you have for ADA accommodation. Please note that you will NOT be officially registered for the event until you receive a ticket from CNN, which will happen after we finalize our list of attendees.

The Town Halls will air from 6PM – 9PM this Sunday and attendees will need to be present an hour earlier to be seated.

If you can’t make it, we invite you to tune in and watch. You can join the conversation inside IAVA’s Virtual Veterans Hall or as we live tweet from @IAVA using the hashtag #Vets2020.
