Read: IAVA Weekly RRRP Impact Report – October 20, 2015

IAVA’s Rapid Response Referral Program (RRRP) is our best in class one-on-one case management and referral service program. Since its launch in late 2012, our Veteran Transition Managers (VTM) have helped more than 5,000 veterans and family members get on track to meeting their goals through free and confidential support and connections to highest quality resources and benefits.

Our VTM’s are masters level social workers, many of whom are vets themselves or trained in veteran cultural competency, who spend on average six hours per client serving vets nationwide. Currently RRRP is funded by generous donors to support veterans in New York and California, but we never turn anyone away and 50% of our casework comes from other states. We are currently seeking support to formally expand the program nationally.

“My contact Veteran Transition Manager has been really great. Being the bread winner and the caregiver staying on task can be a challenge. She has helped me find new options and new people all while not overwhelming my very compact stressful life.”
