Dakota Meyer, IAVA Pay Respects at Ground Zero

On September 21st, IAVA Member Veterans participated in a special ceremony with Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer at the National 9/11 Memorial in New York City.  IAVA joined the New York City Fire and Police Departments, as well as other Veterans Service Organizations, in a small ceremony where Marine Sergeant Meyer was presented with a Marine Corps Flag from the Port Authority Police Department and a piece of steel from the original World Trade Center.
