This holiday season, support military families.

2.5 million Americans like Lucas have served in Iraq or Afghanistan. Donate $25 to help IAVA support them and their families transition home.

We're Impacting Veterans in Four Key Programs:

We know how hard going to, and coming back from, war can be. So IAVA makes it a priority to ensure that both mental and physical health needs are being effectively addressed in our community, and has provided support to over 20,000 returning veterans like Roman nationwide.

With nearly a million new veterans headed back to school under the New GI Bill, IAVA has provided over 500,000 veterans like Chris with the tools and support needed to make informed decisions about their education.

No veteran should come home from Iraq or Afghanistan to an unemployment check. To fight shockingly high joblessness rates, IAVA’s Combat to Career initiative helped over 270,000 veterans like Lucas in their transition to civilian careers in 2011.

Building community means bridging geographical divides to create a united, supported and proud movement of new veterans. IAVA has connected 140,000 Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and families like Millie and Lucas, hosting 350 local events around the country.

IAVA is a 501(c)3 organization (EIN# 20-1664531), and was recently awarded the highest rating of 4-stars from Charity Navigator. Donations to IAVA are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
