IAVA Under the Lights at JETS vs. Patriots
November 14 2011

On November 13, IAVA Member Veterans from New York and New Jersey were treated to a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the new MetLife Stadium. As the Jets took on on their arch-rivals the New England Patriots, they watched all the field action from the best seats in the house – the Commissioners Club – thanks to the generosity of the Schwarzman family.

Through their family's generous support, IAVA Members were able to kick back in a private suite overlooking the 50-yard line while enjoying an incredible game spread complete with lobster rolls, clam chowder, braised veal, an oyster bar and a dessert bar of mini pies, cookies, creme brulee, and sour patch kids as the coup de grâce!
Coming off an incredible Veterans Day 2011, it was a great evening out for these local New York veterans and Jets' fans. During the game, the NFL honored troops and their families paying multiple tributes to our men and women in uniform who are still serving overseas. Even though the Jets couldn't pull out a win, IAVA was honored to join in military appreciation night and deeply grateful for the generosity of the Schwarzmans who made this memorable night possible.
