TIME magazine recently called this group of veterans “The New Greatest Generation.” The piece highlighted the tremendous potential of this generation of veteran leaders; it also underscored the huge challenges our community faces, including a 9.8 percent unemployment rate, an unacceptably high number.

To directly combat veteran unemployment, IAVA is partnering with the US Chamber of Commerce to host a Smart Job Fairs in five cities across the country. Sign up for the Chicago Smart Job Fair coming up on June 6th  here.

All employers through their sponsorship have shown their commitment to hire new veterans.  These employers all have open positions and are looking to hire immediately.
