USAA Bank Launches Alliance With Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America
USAA named exclusive credit card provider

NEW YORK - USAA Bank and Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, the nation's first and largest nonprofit, nonpartisan organization representing veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, are joining forces to introduce a customized credit card designed for approximately 200,000 IAVA members and their families.

USAA Bank now offers the IAVA USAA Rewards™ World MasterCard® credit card to help support IAVA’s core health, education, employment and community programs. USAA Bank will make a contribution to IAVA with every account opened or renewed, and each time cardholders make an eligible purchase.

“IAVA is thrilled to team up with USAA to ensure that our troops, veterans and their families have the financial security and support that they need and deserve,” said IAVA founder and executive director Paul Rieckhoff. “Throughout these wars, USAA continues to step up in a huge way for this generation of veterans. We look forward to expanding this innovative relationship so that our 200,000 members and their families have every available tool and resource to secure their futures.”

”We're pleased to be working with the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of American to launch this co-branded credit card program," said Nathan McKinley, USAA vice president of military affinity. "IAVA has a wonderful mission of supporting Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans, and we appreciate all that they do every day in support of our troops."

In 2009, USAA opened its membership to all veterans who have honorably served and their eligible family members. To learn more about the USAA and IAVA credit card program, call 1-888-518-IAVA (4282) or visit usaa.com/iavacc.
