Men’s Journal: The War’s Invisible Wounded

On October 6th, Men’s Journal spoke to IAVA Executive Director Paul Rieckhoff about traumatic brain injury (TBI) and it’s long-term effects that prevent some veterans of the war from restarting their lives. Rieckhoff calls TBI an ‘invisible wound’ that the Department of Veterans of Affairs and the Department of Defense paid no attention to for the first four years of the war.
