CNN Update: Emergency Checks for GI Bill Recipients

On Monday's CNN Newsroom, Heidi Collins follows up on the story done last Thursday with IAVA Executive Director Paul Rieckhoff on the delayed Post-9/11 GI Bill payments to student veterans.

On Friday, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) authorized checks for up to $3,000 to be given to students who have applied for educational benefits but have not yet received their government payment.
