Channel 8: Tarantino Calls for More Focus on Returning Troops

IAVA Legislative Associate Tom Tarantino joined Washington D.C.'s News Channel 8 to respond to the absence of a back-end plan to care for veterans as a result of the troop surge in Afghanistan. Tarantino used the platform to call on the Obama administration and U.S. Congress to help the VA and DoD modernize, streamline and coordinate their efforts to ease the transition from active duty to life post-combat.
