Post-9/11 GI Bill: Share Your Story

Over 500,000 new veterans and their family members have gone back to school on the New GI Bill. In 2008, IAVA fought hard to pass and secure this generous education benefit, so new veterans are career-ready for the transition into the civilian workforce. Many of our members have reported positive experiences at their schools, but some have not - and we want to hear your story. If you’re facing challenges at your school, tell us in detail below.

  • Have you had issues transferring your credits?
  • Are you facing debt as a result of your education costs?
  • If you just graduated, do you feel employers place value on your degree?
  • Exhausted your GI Bill benefits, but feel like you got ripped off?
