"Nashville Star" premieres tonight

At 9pm EST tonight, the 6th season of "Nashville Star", a reality show seeking the next big country music star, is premiering.

"Among the Top 12 is Tommy Stanley, 23, a sailor working as an engineer on the USS Kitty Hawk stationed in Japan at the time he filmed his audition tape. He was flown to Virginia for the military audition aboard the Iwo Jima and will be given the opportunity to see his father for the first time in a year -- and his mom for the first time in three years."
